Weekend Movies

I saw three movies this weekend and here are my thoughts. =)

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole

This movie showed awesome animation and special effects. I wish I could have seen this on 3D. Though the story was predictable, the characters were so lovable! It was entertaining. =)

Charlie St. Cloud

Another movie based on a book I have yet to read, “Charlie St. Cloud” was predictable. I have to say, Zac Efron was not just an eye-candy in this film, he delivered a good performance as the lead actor. The entire story though was so-so.

West Side Story

An adaptation of Romeo and Juliet set in the 1950’s, here is another tragic tale of love in the middle of a gang war. This is another musical crossed-out from my list of must-watch films. There are corny and funny moments, but the ending still tugged some heartstrings and I understood why this has become a classic. =)

SG

The past two weeks have been a blur and a blast at the same time. Why do I have the feeling that I'll be back in that place soon? =)

Crossing Fingers

I would like to think that tomorrow will be the start of a new chapter in my life.

I will be away from home for 2 weeks. I will miss my comfort zone, my family, my friends, my home and my routine. It's going to be the first time for me to get out of my country and brave the unknown. I will be with some friends, but I am excited to meet new people, learn new cultures and see different places. I also wish I could find something that will make me feel more complete. I will work hard to find my niche and hopefully, start a fulfilling career where I would invest the next years of my life. I am nervous but hopeful at the same time.

Wish me luck! =)
