about days off and a writing quiz

Met with a few friends from TPTS yesterday. I finally had halo-halo! Yumyum! Now, I just wanna go to the beach. Hehe! I also decided to wear a Fellowship cloak during the con. You see, I am not into wearing costumes, although I enjoy watching cosplays. Yesterday, we bought cloth for the cloaks and I'm kinda looking forward to wearing that, plus my Ravenclaw Hogwarts robes. I know it's not a complete set of costume for each fandom but hey, it's already an effort for me.


I'm glad I didn't have to go to work last Friday. At least I got to spend time with friends I seldom see. I think I'm getting a hang of this "no work" thingy. I'd love to have a real vacation though, but I'm not sure when that would happen... or if that would ever happen. But I am enjoying the day at home. I guess that'll do for now. I wish I have more of these long weekend/mini-breaks.
