Just thinking...
What's with Christmas and "falling in love"?
I mean, I understand it's the season of love, family and the birth of Jesus, but why is there a NEED to look for someone to cuddle with in order to keep one's self warm this season? (That's why they invented the heater, blanket, hot apple cider, etc.) Why are there some kind of "desperate attempts" to prevent one's self from being SINGLE before the year ends? What's wrong with being single and available? I mean, lesser expenses for gifts, right? Hehehe!
Does it have something to do with the colors RED and green? The romantic twinkles of the Christmas lights? The cool December breeze? The early morning mass in church? The gifts? The touching Christmas songs? (Pasko na sinta ko, hanap-hanap kita... My idea of a perfect Christmas is to spend it with you...)
Just some queries from a person who has been single since birth. Hope the "love" we get and give this Christmas is the real love we all deserve... a love that will last... like the love shown by the One who celebrates His special day.
